When Life Throws Lemons...Make Lemonade
I can't believe it has been almost two months since I have blogged:( Where does the time go?!?
I loged on to blog and saw my last post.....hince the title of my post. What a suiting title!!! I had no idea when I posted that post that the next two months would be filled with life throwing one lemon after another. Life is funny sometimes the way something happens that you don't understand and then looking back you realize that God has perfect timing!!! The Saturday of my last post...I had just finished making lemonade and sat down to do my six word Saturday...so that's where the phrase came from that day. However over the past two months life has thrown me lemon after lemon, and many times I have thought of that phrase.
I have come to understand that life is full of lemons (things that leave a bitter taste/feeling in your mouth/life). But when we learn to take those bitter things in our life and mix them with the sugar/sweetness of life we realize that the end result is something wonderfully delicious. Many times we tend to focus on the lemons in our life because they are so apparent...they have a strong and lasting taste/effect that is hard to forget. We are so busy focussing on them that we let the sugar or sweetness of life pass us by. I have often wondered why some people who are on their death bed look so peaceful and content.....maybe it's that they finally see the finished product of their lives (the lemonade) and realize that without the lemons their life wouldn't have been so wonderfully delicious.I'm glad to be back......I missed my bloggy friends:)

I was wondering where you were. I thought about you often. You had just given several awards to me for my For Your Tears blog and you were gone. Actually I was gone too, very busy with company and vacation. Please don't stay away so long. I am actually worried about all the lemons you speak of.
I pray all is well. Welcome Back.
Take care & God Bless.
Chrissy,
Glad to have you back and would you be so sweet as to pour me a glass of that fresh lemonade? It is well over a 100 here. Can't wait to hear what you have been up to!
